I have started to notice several changes happening in my microlandscape. First, the condensation on the cover has small trails moving through it, that I think have been caused by some of the little flies I have seen. The trails make quite a beautiful erratic pattern in the moisture.
The pieces of wood have also started to sprout various forms of fungi.
The piece of lichen covered bark is growing a healthy cover of mold.
The piece of wood is growing a white fungus that is not like the fuzzy mold cover on the other pieces.
