Creating a 23′ section going from the capital annex building to the river along my vector was a daunting task.  I began by imaging the section I wanted to cut in AutoCAD. I printed maps of the AutoCAD model, and took them to the site with me. First I walked the site taking measurements so I could update the model with precision, and so I could take clear pictures. Then I walked the site again, this time taking pictures all the way along. I then drafted a section line, and pulled it into Photoshop and montaged the site photos along the line.
